About Us

Technology Leaders TV launched in September 2008 with coverage of the electronicIndia trade show and conference in Bangalore, India’s high tech hub, followed by coverage of the electronica 2008 show in Munich, Germany.

The site gives you the opportunity to see the movers and shakers from our industry and hear their views, in their own words. We work closely with trade show organisers but retain our editorial independence to ensure that you get real value from watching our channels.

As our trade show and conference coverage increases we will add more interviews, discussions, blogs and a newsletter to keep you in touch with what’s new. The team is led by Paul Jackson and Nitin Dahad, based in the UK.

Paul Jackson has had a varied career, encompassing contract R&D, local government, the media and the charity sector. Trained as an engineer, Paul spent the early part of his career at ERA Technology researching new techniques for humanitarian mine clearance before moving into the technology media. He was launch editor for United Business Media’s Microwave Engineering Europe and has written for a wide range of publications from Metal Bulletin and Mobile Communications International to the Financial Times.

Paul’s broadcasting experience started with presenting a series for BBC Radio London in the early eighties where he was trained by veteran Education Producer, Malcolm Laycock and he has subsequently made numerous appearances on TV and radio. He brought CMP Media’s (now TechInsights) first Netseminar to Europe in the late nineties and went on to lead the launch of the pioneering web service for engineers, IEE.TV (now IET).

From 2002-2007, he was with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (formerly IEE), Europe’s largest professional body for the science, engineering and technology community. In that role he led the IET’s development in India and China and has regularly commented on skills and technology issues facing the engineering and IT industries. Paul’s wider contribution to the technology community has also been varied: member of the partnership board, International Broadcasting Convention, Advisory Committee for the electricity distribution community CIRED, Technical Director of EUREL, Chair of the Boards for Islington Building Services and Cleansing Services.

Nitin Dahad is an electronic engineer who took his career into publishing, corporate communications, and business start-ups, and specialises in communicating complex technology and management issues to both technical and non-technical audiences. He makes good use of various media worldwide with PR, advertising, marketing, trade shows, conferences and online.

Nitin's experience has been built in a variety of high-tech companies including EDA Exhibitions, GEC Plessey Semiconductors, ARC Cores (now ARC International), Marconi Instruments and, online, The Chilli. He has provided consultancy and services to membership and media organisations on three continents and established an extensive network of international contacts in the high-tech sector.  In addition, he also took a start-up company to a successful listing on the London Stock Exchange.

Nitin originally cut his media teeth in technical journalism and he has become an established business and technology writer and communications specialist. He currently serves on the board of various high-tech technology companies, higher education establishments, and publishing businesses.
