Nokia N95 Tear Down pt4

The Nokia N95 is an advanced smart phone with two camera modules, video and loads of software. But, what makes it tick? Dave Carey, Chief Wrench at Portelligent, part of UBM's TechInsights Division, loves tearing apart electronic kit. Here, in front of a live audience at electronica 2008, the Nokia N95 got the treatment.

You can take a look inside at Technology Leaders TV, courtesy of TechInsights, in this joint production.

The phone is dissected in four segments with a fifth to compare the N95 with the i-phone:

Part 1 Basic Assembly

Part 2 Circuit boards, including major components, displays and interconnect

Part 3 Radio subsystem and analogue components

Part 4 Integrated Circuits
